Prónay Castle is located in Alsópetény, in a picturesque valley of the Cserhát Mountains, only about a 45-minute drive from Budapest. is named after its last noble owners, the Prónay family. The baroque styled castle was built around1750 and is under heritage conservation now. At present, four buildings await the guests: the Big and Small Castle, renovated period style; the Guesthouse installed in the former Manor House; and the newly built Bathhouse. The park of the Castle is a protected environmental value. The Castle is primarily available for private group events. The setting is ideal for weddings or other family and social gatherings, as well as for conferences and training purposes. The Castle buildings are furnished with antique furniture, yet are also equipped with the latest technology.
