Corvinus University of Budapest is an outstanding educational institution in Hungary in the fields of economic, management and social sciences. Corvinus University Budapest has integrated two new tourism specializations into its Business and Management bachelor degree program. Both the Experience Planning in Tourism and the Management of Tourism Services specializations are practice oriented, project based courses. Our goal is developing and nurturing innovative and creative professionals, who will be capable of establishing and leading tourism destination organizations, managing cultural attractions, accommodations, hospitality and event management companies with a focus on consumers’ needs, profitability and sustainability. Within the bachelor degree program, further opportunities will be offered to enroll into English courses within marketing, innovations, gastronomy and smart transportation fields.
The Tourism Industry Field Specific program caters mostly to industry practitioners, due to its market specific, competitive and up-to date course content. The various project works enable the development of networking opportunities, which is also a priority of the program.
Within the over 20 different type of Master’s degree programs held in Hungarian and English languages, in the area of marketing and management there are many tourism subject related course offers.
The Doctoral School of Business and Management offers specializations in Tourism, which enables PhD candidates to acquire the highest degree of knowledge in the discipline of tourism studies, encourages independent research projects and provides connection to global academic and industry networking.
Corvinus University of Budapest with its tourism field specific programs is dedicated to support the education of industry practitioners, companies and organizations. The publications of the Tourism Department in Hungarian language via electronic and printed forms cater to domestic tourism professionals, while its international level researches contribute to the shaping of tourism related disciplines globally.
